A common way to turn off the computer is to press the start button and then Shut down, yet there are other ways that can be used to turn off or shut down your computer.
The first way is to press the power button on your keyboard. Make sure there is a button on your keyboard is. Usually on the new keyboard is equipped with the power. But if there is power on button does not guarantee your PC can be turned off with the key.
The second way is by pressing the Windows key (usually pictorial windows logo) and then followed by a push button upward direction until the shut down option and then enter and select shut down and press enter again.
While the latter way is by pressing Alt + F4 on the desktop screen to activate the shut down menu on your pc, then select the function you want.
